In 1986 Loz went on to record an album for Atlantic records published by Screen Gems/EMI called ‘Loz Netto’ being personally signed by founder Ahmet Ertigun. Loz recorded and Produced a second album at Chipping Norton studios entitled ‘You Are Rhythm’ engineered by the legendary Barry Hammond. The single also went top ten in Holland and charted in most European countries. His first single 'Fade Away' appeared in the U.S top 40 in six weeks. Loz recorded his first critically acclaimed solo album Loz Netto’s BZAR in 1982 at George Martins Air studio’s in Oxford Circus, London. This success meant tours in Europe and the USA After coming back from a three month tour of America the band went back in the studio and recorded the second album ‘Games Up’ also engineered by Steve Lipson While with the band Loz appeared on various T.V shows including Top of The Pops, The Old Grey Whistle Test, European and U.S.A T.V Unfortunately at this point Loz broke his arm in a motorbyke accident and was laid up for many months, Loz used this time to write and demo songs and In 1982 Loz signed to ATV music publishing, and later Polygram records, this was the beginning of his solo career. In 1992 the song Drivers Seat was used in two highly successful advertising campaigns in Holland and Germany, catapulting it into the charts in these countries and reaching the No1 spot in Holland. Loz then went on to become a founder member of the band 'Sniff 'n' The Tears' and recorded a further two albums the first album ‘Fickle Heart’ engineered by Steve Lipson became an acclaimed and award winning album the single ‘Drivers Seat’ became a critical and commercial success around the world, reaching number fifteen on the Billboard chart in the USA in 1979 The single and album are still played extensively world wide and is regarded as one of Steve Wrights favourite singles. Loz Netto started his professional career at seventeen playing guitar on tour for Ben 'E' King (Ex lead singer for The Drifters, playing songs such as 'Stand by Me' and 'Under the Boardwalk' He then joined the cult soul/funk band Moon as lead guitarist and songwriter and signed to CBS records and Rondor music for publishing, the band recorded two albums for the label ‘Too Close For Comfort’ in 1976 and ‘Turning The Tides’ in 1977 while touring the UK and Europe extensively.
